Brief Synopsis:
Love as you never expected
This digitally generated film /audio-visual installation draws its energy from extremely slow and meditative movement. It is optimally presented as a spatial installation in order to create ‘elastic ambience’ of interlacing sounds and imagery.
Numinous Doubles is based on a true story of life, starting from SMS 07.00.
Methodologies for this film arise from critical reading of cybernetics theory, following the principle of parsimony to distinguish bifurcations for autopoesia of post-constructivist digital architecture, saturation and rarefaction, in this order, to diagnose antiauthoritarian structures and depth of field.
Formally based on theoretical writings of Jean Baudrillard, Hakim Bey, Julia Kristeva, Judith Butler, Michel Foucault and Gilles Deleuze we travel from alterity of the ‘essential double (le double requisit)’ towards the focal point of reconciliation of dualisms where there is a possibility for the ‘numinous doubles’ to demeure without becoming virtually alienated.
